Advanced Woodworking

Grades 2-5

In Advanced Woodworking, students will work on projects that involve some measuring, cutting, drilling, nailing, and sanding.   Children will be encouraged to figure out more by themselves than in Woodworking 1 where all projects are pre-cut.  Some projects may take multiple classes to complete, but all are assured of finishing their projects.   Students will need to have a little more patience and incentive to complete projects, however, guidance and encouragement will be given.  The main emphasis will remain as in Woodworking 1 and that is to be safe and have fun.

Payment Information:  Please bring check payable to 'Patrick Turvey' to the first class or mail a check before the start of class to Patrick Turvey, 5906 N. 22nd St., Arlington, VA 22205.
