Fitness, Food and Fun with Ms. Kushner, Ms. Sydney, Ms. Rutzen, and Ms. Gutowski

Grades 1-5

Fitness, Food and Fun will be just that! Class will meet on Monday's to run, cook and keep healthy with fun activities. Students will be split into groups weekly based on different criteria such as gender, age or ability. Our 9-week class will culminate with a 5k race and a healthy party.

Fee: $175

Wrestling with Mr. Gavin & Mr. Fernandez

Grades 3-5

Wrestling with Mr. Gavin and Mr. Fernandez will entail teaching the basic fundamentals of wrestling. Students will be required to bring workout clothes with them to each practice. Each practice will begin with a warm-up, instruction and drilling and conditioning. Wrestling is the world's oldest sport and students will learn the roles of discipline and respect. We look forward to working with all athletes in the fall.

Cake Decorating with Ms. Bane

Grades 1-5

Have you ever wondered how someone makes princess castle cakes or Angry Birds cookies? If so, this class is just for you! Cake Decorating is a new class being offered to Glebe students. In this class you will not only learn how to bake all sorts of yummy treats, but how to decorate them as well. Students will begin their culinary journey by learning how to use the piping tools on wax paper and eventually build up to decorating cookies and finishing with a fully decorated cake which they can take home and enjoy with their families. So, if you’re interested in making those princess castle cakes or Angry Birds cookies, sign up for Cake Decorating!

Gap Time Drama with Mr. H

Grades K-2

Gap Time Drama presents “Things You Never Heard About the Big Bad Wolf!”.  Come on a spirited journey through Mother Goose nursery rhymes and find out some things you never heard before about the big bad Wolf!

Boys Soccer

Grades K-2

Former professional soccer player, Khary Stockton and company take the field to help our children develop their soccer skills.  This skill building class targets boys in grade levels kindergarten to second grade.  Learn skills, techniques, and moves in a fun, interactive environment.

Girls Soccer with Ms. Schwartz and Ms. Burton

Grades K-4

Ms. Schwartz and Ms. Burton will be running a Girls Only Soccer Club after school on Mondays! They will be working on basic soccer skills and playing fun games. Girls in grades K-4 are welcome to join in on the action and practice those soccer moves!

Lacrosse 101 for Beginners

Grades K-5

The Lacrosse 101 program is designed to develop player fundamentals in a safe and fun environment. With an emphasis on general fitness, speed, agility, stick skills, and offensive/defensive strategies, this clinic is perfect for students new to lacrosse as well as students who are still working on catching and throwing. Players will be required to have lacrosse sticks that can be used as students advance with their lacrosse camps and programs. We will scrimmage at the end of each session, encouraging players to use the skills and techniques learned in class.

Lacrosse Intermediate/Advanced

Grades K-5

The NEW Intermediate & Advanced Lacrosse program is being offered to accommodate our players that are advancing! There will be an additional coach this season to offer this more advanced program. Players will be required to have pads and helmets that can be used as students advance with their lacrosse camps and programs. This program will be designed for both intermediate and advanced level players wanting to hone their skills and take their game to the next level.

Karate II

Grades 3-5

This karate program for older students teaches proper form, style, technique, and discipline which inspire higher levels of respect, motivation, and self-confidence. Various student levels can be accommodated. We will still hold belt exams, which includes a certificate of completion and a belt. Pilates with Ms. Savitsky

Grades 3-5

Children love to be active, so Pilates exercises for kids will seem like play to them! We will learn the basic Pilates moves with a kid-friendly twist. We will exercise to popular music and incorporate fun props such as the mini-ball. After mastering the basic moves, kids will have the opportunity to teach the class their favorite moves! Some of the benefits of pilates include better concentration, increased flexibility, better posture, increased self-esteem and confidence, reduced stress and strengthening of the core muscles. Pilates is great for kids involved in sports or dance to improve balance and coordination. All students will receive a special thick 1/2 inch pilates mat (5 colors to choose from) and mini-ball for use in class and to keep at the end of the session! Ms. Savitsky is insured, is a certified Mat Instructor through Balanced Body University and has instructed adults for three years. Students should wear comfortable clothing and avoid skirts or jeans for class. A snack and water bottle are recommended.

Fee: Tuition is $125 for new students and includes a mat and ball. The returning student tuition is $100 if no materials are required.
