Art Works
Grades: 2-5
Art Works Fine Art Studio will be covering a variety of media including, drawing, watercolor, acrylic painting, design markers, and pastel. Each class will teach a set-by-step approach to drawing and color. Every student has the ability to excel at drawing a painting given the right tools. We will teach these techniques and processes learned through the master artists.

Math Dice with Ms. Kushner and Ms. McIntyre
Grades: K-5
Math becomes more fun when you think on the fly! Come learn Math
Dice Jr. and/or Math Dice! Roll the 12-sided
Target Die to get your target number, then roll the Scoring Dice. Using
operations, combine the Scoring Dice to match the target number. This
mental challenge helps players sharpen math skills by solving problems in a fun
new way.

Hip Hop with Mr. Gray
Grades: 3-5
Students will have an opportunity to learn basic hip-hop skills and choreographed dances with Mr. Gray. We will be combining different dance techniques and putting together energetic routines step-by-step. We will also have the opportunity to perform some of our routines at Dance Party Fridays! This is the perfect class for kids who love to dance.

Cake Decorating with Mrs. Rutherford
Grades: 1-5
Have you ever wondered how someone makes princess castle cakes or Angry Birds cookies? If so, this class is just for you! In this class you will not only learn how to bake all sorts of yummy treats, but how to decorate them as well. Students will begin their culinary journey by learning how to use the piping tools on wax paper and eventually build up to decorating cookies and finishing with a fully decorated cake which they can take home and enjoy with their families. So, if you’re interested in making those princess castle cakes or Angry Birds cookies, sign up for Cake Decorating!

Young Entrepreneurs
Grades: 2-5
So you want to be an entrepreneur? In this
innovative class, you will learn what it takes to launch your own business and
how successful entrepreneurs transformed creative ideas into today’s
mega-companies. Students will work in teams to select a business idea, develop
a business plans and "pitch" their venture to a panel on the last day
of class. Topics include:

This karate program for older students teaches proper form, style, technique, and discipline which inspire higher levels of respect, motivation, and self-confidence. Various student levels can be accommodated. We will still hold belt exams, which includes a certificate of completion and a belt. Dance Party with Ms. Collura
Grades: K-2
What's
the best way to stay fit while having fun? DANCE! This is a high-energy dance
class that incorporates hip-hop and Latin-inspired movements. Dances are easy
to follow and age appropriate. Students will learn how to incorporate basic
dance moves into fun, high-energy songs. Students will be dancing to popular
songs from artists such as Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake,
and Bruno Mars. A cool down period at the end of class will allow students an
opportunity to stretch and learn basic yoga poses. A healthy snack will be
provided at the end of class. Students will be provided a specially made
"Glebe Dance Crew" T-shirt. Get ready to show off your new dance
moves to Mrs. Borg and your teachers at dance party Fridays!

Glebe Glee Club
Grades: K-5
The Glebe Glee Club offers an exciting opportunity for students to participate in a vocal ensemble. Throughout this 8 week enrichment program, your child will participate in motivating and exciting activities, learning proper vocal technique, basic music theory and rhythmic skills. At the end of the session, members of The Glee Club will perform a small concert using songs they know and love from popular music. The Glee Club requires no musical or vocal experience, and no audition is necessary! All ages are welcome. This class encourages student input and is a different experience each time.
