Magic Treehouse Book Club
Grades 1-4
Led by Glebe’s own Cassidy Burton! Experience adventure led by Jack and Annie as they travel through time in their magic tree house. We will read one book in this popular series together. Each week we’ll enjoy a snack and a special activity to go with the story. All reading levels are welcome. Cost includes your own copy of the book. No homework, just fun!

Gourmet Chefs
Grades 3-5
In each completely interactive class, our Gourmet Chefs in training will prepare an entrée, healthy snack or dessert. This Fall presents "The Gourmet Chef Challenge". Each session will focus on one mystery ingredient; something as exotic as pomegranates or jicama, or as familiar as apples and oranges. Using that item, the Gourmet Chefs will challenge themselves to make mouth-watering specialties, traditional favorites and explore new ingredients, tastes and combinations. As the students gain culinary knowledge they will also be expanding their vocabulary, reading comprehension, math and logic skills and their ability to work as a team. As always your chefs will have plenty of good eats to sample and take home to share. Are you up to the challenge?

Group Piano
Grades PreK-2
This group piano class studies hands-on piano and music theory. In this class, your child will work closely with the teacher to practice traditional elements of music education and is organized into a carefully planned sequence that guarantees fun and success in a playful group atmosphere. The instructor will teach how to count rhythm, identify notes, and play common melodies on the white and black keys of the piano. Children are given worksheets to do at home. Several beginner levels can be accommodated. Students will be divided into classes based on age and experience. Offered by Piano Keys 4 Kids (PK4K).

Junie B. Jones On Stage!
Grades PreK-2
Junie B. Jones On Stage! Students will create a Junie B. Jones play and act out their favorite characters. They will learn about the tools of an actor, and what it takes to create a play using the settings and characters from this well-loved series. Students should attend all 6 sessions. Each session will build on one another culminating in a time of sharing for friends and family on the last day of class.
