Have you ever wondered how someone makes princess castle cakes or Angry Birds cookies? If so, this class is just for you! In this class you will not only learn how to bake all sorts of yummy treats, but how to decorate them as well. Students will begin their culinary journey by learning how to use the piping tools on wax paper and eventually build up to decorating cookies and finishing with a fully decorated cake which they can take home and enjoy with their families. Do your children think they have all the answers? Thinking Outside the Box is just the right thing for them! This class will give your child the opportunity to learn how to think on their feet and spend time in a wonderfully stimulating and creative environment while learning how to tackle challenging problems.

Using games, they will be presented a problem, lead a group brainstorm session, gather the information from her/his team, practice consensus/conflict resolution and problem solving and lead the team to a final decision.  This class will develop their creativity and critical thinking while learning team building, leadership development, problem solving, conflict resolution, trust and perseverance skills. Not to mention, give them insight into some of what you have to deal with on a daily basis at work and/or at home! Most importantly, they will have fun learning crucial concepts and skills for our new digital, increasingly complex and challenging world!
