Grades 3-5
Interested in writing a book? Ms. Hall and Ms. Nolan invite you to come and learn about the book writing process and to write a book. Students will also enjoy a publishing party at the end of the session, where parents and friends are invited to read the books.

Popstar Dance
Grades 1-4
This exciting class takes the great music and dance moves of Pop stars from yesterday and today incorporating hip-hop, creative movement and jazz dance styles. Students will be encouraged to express their own style of movement throughout the class using various expressive movement exercises. Our class uses age appropriate dance movement and music. Dance attire is totally optional. Classes are designed to accommodate a “come-as-you-are” group, though loose-fitting or athletic attire is best. The session ends with a presentation to family and friends giving students a chance to present the different things they have learned during the session.

My First Hot Cocoa Stand (Spark)

Come learn how to make yummy hot cocoa and how to earn money selling it! A hot cocoa stand is a great way to introduce our youngest entrepreneurs to the world of business and it’s fun! From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits to experimenting with recipes, young students will have fun while engaging in enriching, multi-disciplinary activities with a lasting developmental impact.

I LOVE CLAY! with Ms. Westergren & Ms. Lewis
Grades K-2
What is it about clay that makes it so irresistible? It can be pinched, poked, rolled, squeezed etc. into limitless amazing creations. I LOVE CLAY! let’s kids explore these possibilities in a relaxed studio environment. Basic techniques for working with clay: pinching, coil building, slab building etc. will be introduced, but the choice of what to make is up to our young “artists”. We will also use two different surface color techniques, glaze and paint. Students will get a tour of the kiln room and use shaping tools made just for clay.

EV3 Robotics
Grades 3-5
This club focuses on LEGO's EV3 robotics platform. Students design, construct, and program their robots to perform in sensor-based challenges, as well as robotic competitions. Initial student projects include hill climbing, beacon retrieval, color sensor navigation, and robot combat. Advanced programming and more complex robotics tasks are available for students ready for additional challenges. Students with any level of robotics experience are welcome to join.

The American Sign Language (ASL) Club is for students to learn about the deaf culture and how to communicate in American Sign Language. Some of the lessons will include: alphabet, numbers, days of the week, common phrases/sayings, food, animals, and many more! During the club, we will be able to practice using the various signs through games and group activities. All former students are welcome--they receive different lessons/instruction.

A Trip Around the World (Part 2) with Ms. Sebastian

ALL NEW COUNTRIES! Pack your bags again for another great itinerary including all new places. We will visit Iceland, South Africa, Thailand, India, Ireland, Brazil, The Czech Republic and New Zealand. During class the children will get to taste foods, create art projects and play games that originate in these different countries.

Intermediate/Advanced Karate II: Yellow Belt or higher
Grades 2-5
This popular class is a disciplined introduction to the sport by Kaizen Karate. Your child will learn the beautiful art of karate while gaining safety and defensive skills in a respectful environment. The class will also emphasize the basic karate principles of focus, patience and self-discipline. Additionally, students must have sparring gear to attend this class. Basic sparring concepts will be taught during class time in a safe manner. Returning students will continue to work toward new belts. Parents should view the student handbook on the Kaizen Karate website for specific belt requirements for each level. This class will be 90 minutes in length and students must be a yellow belt or higher. (Instruction provided by Kaizen Karate)
